It is a great pleasure to introduce Little Earth Montessori, a new Montessori preschool for the Kapiti Coast.
Little Earth Montessori Kapiti is a child-centered enviro preschool that celebrates diversity, individual growth and a lifelong love of learning.
Little Earth Montessori Kapiti is no ordinary preschool - it is a community of children, parents and teachers who want something special for their children and for themselves. We follow the principles of Maria Montessori, and deliver a curriculum that develops a love of learning and where children learn and grow together and lifelong friendships are formed, in a peaceful, naturalised environment.
At Little Earth Montessori Kapiti children learn how to learn! Our teachers are committed to excellence, balancing academic skills with important life skills. Our programme balances joyful learning, independent thinking and curiosity, creativity, and imagination in a sustainable environment, with a naturalised outdoor environment where children can experience the beauty of nature and nurture their sense of wonder. Construction of Little Earth Montessori Kapiti started in March 2009 and the preschool opened in September 2009, at 15 Te Tupe Road in Paraparaumu.
