As an enviroschool we are committed to work towards becoming a sustainable community, providing an environmental education that engages the children in the physical, social and cultural aspects of our environment. Our programme fosters a greater understanding of the inter-relatedness between all living things.
As an enviro school we implement a living curriculum. Aspects of interdependence and biodiversity are incorporated as we learn about the seasons, gardening and animal care. Children observe living creatures in their natural environments and learn about the soil, water and the air. They acquire a caring attitude to nature and the environment, and understand that they are a part of of nature. Strengthening our connection with nature and the environment is an integral part of our preschool.
